The visit allows to know more about the life, work and personality of Gaetano Donizetti, protagonist of the European musical scene of the early 19th century.

In the Museum of Donizetti let yourself be fascinated by an exceptional biography: admire the original scores, see Gaetano Donizetti’s face change over the years, listen to his music.

If you want to see also where the young Gaetano took his first steps, go to via Borgo Canale and enter his birth house; you can end your walk in the places of the famous composer paying homage to his tomb inside the splendid Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore.
